Berry seeds are for the birds....but coffee heals all

Birds, birds everywhere last fall.  Within each mast step and across each spreader. Little did we know each dropping's little seed would make its way down the decks and into storage compartment seams and on into them when opened.....until enough gathered in a compartment's drainhole to seal it off.

Having stayed overnight, I ventured out to find the propane tank to open its valve and test the stove and enjoy some coffee. Upon pulling the deck latch, up sprang the propane tank, buoyant in its pool of winter water letting me know of an additional task to be taken care of - after the coffee I decided.
After a nice cup of coffee and tapa breakfast, I began the task of emptying the compartment with the help of a electric drill pump and water hose and scrub brushes to remove the water and filth.  Once cleaned up, a divot near the bottom appeared and I discovered it correlated with a drain port on the hull below once I knew to look for it.  With the help of a untwisted coat hangar, the drain reopened and the compartment cleaning was completed more efficiently.

Bird seeds and drain ports....something else to keep an eye on going forward.  Nothing is simple.
