High and dry at Herrington Harbour North in Deale, Maryland for the 2018-2019 winter season.
The first thing that struck me was how high off the ground this boat was compared to our previous Catalina 36 and it was quickly apparent that our previous stepladder method fell a bit short of needs.
Luckily for me, I mentioned my dilemna while out at 2 Silos with my good friend Mark and he generously set me up for the winter with one of his spare extension ladders which provided much safer access as it rose just enough above deck which measured a full 12 foot above the ground!
